 National Institute on Aging: http://www.nih.gov/nia ‑ Service of National Institute on Aging. Provides information on issues and health conditions that affect the elderly.

 ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE:

 Alzheimer's Association: http://www.alz.org ‑ Provides information and resources to persons with Alzheimer's disease and their care givers.

 Alzheimer’s Disease Education & Referral Center:

http://www.alzheimers.org – Excellent site from the National Institute on Aging for information on Alzheimer's and dementia. Provides links to related sites and resources.

 National Institute Arthritis & Musculoskeletal & Skin Diseases: http://www.nih.gov/niams ‑Government sponsored site that provides a reliable overview of research and our existing knowledge base on the disease.

 ASTHMA:

 All Allergy: http://www.allallergy.net ‑ Gateway web site that provides comprehensive information on airborne, food and chemical allergy problems. Also covers asthma in depth.

 CANCER:

 American Cancer Society: http://www.cancer.org ‑ Provides information and news about cancer and treatments.

 Cancer Care: http://www.cancercare.org  - Web site devoted to providing information to the consumer, family member or health provider on cancer related topics.

 National Cancer Institute: http://www.nci.nih.gov ‑ Comprehensive information on research on cancer provided through the National Institute of Health.

 OncoLink: http://www.oncolink.com ‑ Good source of information about cancer and cancer related treatments.

 Depression & Related Affective Disorders Association: http://www.drada.org/ ‑ This organization works cooperatively with Johns Hopkins Psychiatry Department. Good site for research as well as general information.

 National Human Genome Research Institute: http://www.genome.gov/10001217  - This division of the NIH contains up to date research information on the human genome and its application to health.  This specific link is to information on Parkinson ’s disease.
