Steps for acquiring MSDNAA software

1.      You must be registered in an RCC Computer Science class (e.g.  CS179).

2.      Go to http://msdn06.e-academy.com/orguecc_cs/ to order the access code needed to activate the software you wish to use. Click the Log In button.

3.      Your username is your RCC student email address. If you received a Welcome letter similar to this one from MSDNAA it should include your password.

4.      If you did not receive a Welcome letter from MSDNAA with a password, click on the option for a password reminder. It will be sent to your RCC student email address.

5.      Once you are logged in, click on the software* you wish to use. Click on the option for 'free' CD-checkout. Add all the software you wish to use to your Cart, then proceed to Checkout.

6.      You will be shown a page with the product code for the Software you ordered; print a copy of that page to keep with you.

7.      You must purchase blank CDs to make copies of the software you wish.

8.      Take your blank CDs to the RCC Library circulation desk and request the master copies of the software* you wish to copy.

9.      Use the Library CD copier to make your copy.

10.  Return the master disk(s) to the circulation desk.

11.  You can then install the software to your machine. Use the product code to activate the software.

*Only the commonly requested software is available at the Library desk. If you are wanting less frequently used Microsoft software you will need to contact Wade Mann .
